EXPLORE COVERACK
Coverack is a working fishing village with a sandy beach, thatched cottages, a 19th century harbour, pub, gift shops and spectacular views. With its beautiful outlook and shallow waters, beach life at Coverack takes centre stage.
IMMERSE YOURSELF IN NATURE
Situated on a magnificent coastline, with the Southwest Coast Path running through it, Coverack is an obvious destination for sailors, swimmers, hikers and walkers. Kayaks, windsurfers, paddleboards and tuition are available from the windsurfing centre at the harbour, while scuba diving, sailing and fishing trips can also be arranged. Please do ask us for more information.
DOG–FRIENDLY
The Bay hotel provides a dog-friendly stay, ideal for those who want their furry companions alongside them on the Southwest Coast Path and beaches. Coverack beach – along with many others on the Lizard Peninsula – is dog-friendly too. Please note during the Summer months of July and August between 9am and 6pm dogs are required to be on leads on Coverack Beach.
THE LIZARD
The Lizard landscape varies from large dramatic beaches like Kynance Cove, to rich unspoilt moors like Goonhilly (where the striking satellite dishes beamed the first moon-landing to the world) and the woody creeks of the Helford River, home to Frenchman’s Creek and the historic gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan. The beauty, history and wildlife of the Lizard is outstanding. Come and explore!
